Gothic and Celtic cross jewellery
Gothic cross jewellery: pendants, bracelets and rings
The cross is a symbol widely present in the gothic fashion but also rock and metal. Some followers wear the Christian cross right side up but also upside down which has an anti-religious meaning, often emblematic of black metal looks. That's why you will find among our collections of pendant jewels inverted crosses.
We also find the Celtic cross jewellery in which there is a ring that symbolizes Celtic Christianity, Latin shape (longer lower leg) or regular shape which is considered since the 70s as a fascist or at least nationalist symbol.
Finally, the eight-pointed chaos star jewellery, created by the English illustrator Jim Cawthorn, has been found since the 1970s among the punk movement and then hijacked by the Goths. It is called the chaosphere.
L'antre de Syria offers many pendant jewels in the shape of a cross, upright or upside down, but also Celtic cross or chaos star jewels in silver or gold, simple or decorated with strass.
